Abstract

This research was conducted in Tulung Sari Village, Belitang Mulya District, East Oku Regency from August 2022 to October 2022. The aim was to find out the reasons behind farmers using the Superior Inpari 32 Variety and to calculate the amount of production and income of paddy rice farming when using the Inpari Superior Variety. 32. The research method used was the survey method. The results of this study indicated that the reasons for using the Superior Variety Inpari 32 were higher production yields, resistance to pests and diseases, more appropriate age of the plants produced and high quality rice. Previously using the Ciherang Variety, the average total production cost was Rp. 7.712.500 gross income of Rp. 22.800.000 and net income of Rp. 15.087.500. with a land area of ​​1 ha. Meanwhile, after using the Superior Variety Inpari 32. The average total cost of production in the rice farming Superior Variety Inpari 32 is Rp. 7.692.500 gross income of Rp. 27.360.000 and net income of Rp. 19.667.500 land 1 ha. After using the Inpari 32 Superior Variety, it experienced an increase in production of 1,200 kg/ha and an increase in income of Rp. 4.580.000 per planting season with a land area of ​​1 ha.
