Abstract
This research is a concrete research using bamboo leaf ash as a sbustitute for cement material. This study aims to determine the effect of using bamboo leaf ash as a cement substitution material on the compressive strength of K 240 concrete. This study used an experimental method with a total of 90 specimens. The test object consisted of normal concrete without added ingredients as a comparison, with 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, and 10% bamboo lead ash as cement substitutes. Each variation of the concere mixture made 15 test objects. The test object used is a cube with a size of 15 X 15 cm. The planeed concrete quality is K 240, the compressive strength test is carried out at the age of 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. From the results of research on the compressive strength of concrete, the ash content of bamboo leaves was 7% with a compressive strength of 267,0 Kg/cm2 at the age of 28 days. It can beconcluded that the addition of bamboo leaf ash can improve the quality of concrete.
