Abstract

Water is one of the basic needs in survival for humans and it is certain that life will not exist without water. The existence of water on earth is used for various sectors. One form of utilization is to meet the needs of clean water and drinking water for humans. The types of clean water needs can be in the form of domestic water needs or household water needs, non-domestic needs, public services, and industry. Location This research was conducted in five villages in Banyuasin III sub-district, namely Session Mas, Rimba Alai, Ujung Tanjung, Pelajau Ilir, Tanjung Beringin. In this study, the authors look for solutions to clean water needs in the five villages of the Banyuasin III sub-district. From the results of the study, to meet the needs of clean water in five villages in the Banyuasin III sub-district, namely the Village of Session Mas - Rimba Alai - Ujung Tanjung, it is necessary to add 2 hours of water production service hours, which was originally 3 hours of water production service hours to 5 hours. Tanjung Beringin Village – Pelajau Ilir needs to add 30 minutes of water production service hours, which was originally 2 hours of water production service hours to 2.5 hours.
