Abstract

WINDA LA ROSA, Analysis of Factors Affecting Farmers' Decisions in Using Rubber Coagulants in Seri Tanjung Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency. (supervised by HARNIATUN ISWARINI AND YULLIAH PEROZA). This research was carried out with the aim of knowing how the factors that influence farmers' decisions in using the type of rubber coagulant in Seri Tanjung Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was carried out in Seri Tanjung Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used is the survey method. While the sampling method uses the disproportionate stratified random sampling method (unbalanced layered random sample). The data collection method used in this study is observation and direct interviews with respondents who have been determined using a questionnaire that has been prepared. prepared. descriptive-qualitative data processing.The results showed that the education level had a significant effect on the decision of farmers to use vinegar coagulant while farmers who used antacid coagulant had a greater chance of higher education, the income factor had a significant effect on the decisions of farmers who used vinegar coagulant because their income increased to use this type of vinegar coagulant. , the experience factor has no significant effect on the decision of farmers to use para vinegar because farmers first use para vinegar coagulant compared to ant acid, the land area factor has no significant effect on farmers' decisions to use para vinegar because farmers who use para vinegar coagulant have a larger land area greater than farmers who use ant acid, the price factor has a significant effect on the decision of farmers to use para vinegar because the price of para vinegar coagulant is relatively low compared to the price of ant acid coagulant
