Abstract
ABSTRACT Mapping with Drones is a strategy for mapping with a faster and more efficient time, so it can save more survey time. Ground Control Point (GCP) was created to improve the geometric accuracy of a map. Installation and Measurement of GCP has been standardized in SNI 19-6724-2002 and Head of BIG Regulation No. 6 of 2018. This research is a field study with data carried out in the area of campus A, Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. Field data retrieval using Drones for aerial photography and Geodetic GPS. Drones are needed for object retrieval, while GCP measurements use static methods. The results of research conducted at Campus A, University of Muhammadiyah Palembang, resulted in planimetric coordinate accuracy test data, namely the CE90 value of 0.11 m and the LE90 value of 0.14 m. of 0.2 meters. The RMSe for the accuracy of the measurement results using GCP gets a horizontal error value of 0.11 m and a vertical error of 0.14 m, while the error report of the measurement results without GCP gets a horizontal error value of 1.15 m and a vertical error of 2.01 m. Mapping surveys using drones save time and money much more, the area of the A University of Muhammadiyah Palembang is 4.7 hectares and can be completed in ± 3 hours. Keywords: Drone, Ground Control Point (GCP), PIX4D Mapper, Agisoft Metashape, Orthomosaic.
