Abstract
Sedimentation is the process of depositing erosion-resulting material in a certain place. Material deposition can be caused by water, wind, ice or glaciers in a basin which then forms a new type of rock called sedimentary rock. This study aims to calculate the total sediment discharge contained in the Kedukan Bukit River and its effect on river morphology (River Shape). Sedimentation is the process of depositing erosion-resulting material in a certain place. Material deposition can be caused by water, wind, ice or glaciers in a basin which then forms a new type of rock called sedimentary rock. This study aims to calculate the total sediment discharge contained in the Kedukan Bukit River and its effect on river morphology. Based on the results of the calculation of total sediment transport discharge, the average sediment transport is obtained at each point for each method, namely the average total sediment discharge value obtained from each equation between the three methods, this similarity of average magnitude is, Yang method = 0.0091315 tons / sec, Bagnold method = 0.0038365 tons / sec and Shen and Hung Method = 0.0001495 tons / sec. With the results of the calculations above, it can be ascertained that changes in the morphology of the river will continue to occur, or in other words, silting and narrowing of the river, depending on how long the sedimentation occurs. Keywords : Total Sedimentation, River Morphology.
