Abstract

JODHI FERBIANSYAH, Analysis of Cropping Patterns and Income of Horticultural Farmers Using the Drip Irrigation Method in Budi Mulya Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency (supervised by RAHMAT KURNIAWAN and INNIKE ABDILLAH FAHMI). This study was conducted to determine the types of cropping patterns and income of horticultural farmers who use the drip irrigation method. This research was conducted in Budi Mulya Village, Air Kumbang Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency from March to May 2022.The research method used was the survey method. The sampling method used was Purposive Sampling, where in this study the sampling process was carried out deliberately with consideration of farmers who used the drip irrigation method in horticultural business activities. Data collection methods used in this research are observation and direct interviews to respondents using tools in the form of a list of questions that have been prepared in advance. Data processing methods used are editing, and tabulating. and data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the cropping pattern used by horticultural farmers who use drip irrigation method is a monoculture cropping pattern with rotating cropping rotation starting with chili farming in August to January, then continued with melon farming in February to April and watermelon farming in May to July. The average income of farmers in one year is IDR 150.666.429
