Abstract

This study aims to determine the social conditions of farmers due to the construction of the Palembang-Indralaya Toll Road in Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency and to determine the Economic Conditions of Farmers Due to the Construction of the Palembang-Indralaya Toll Road in Pemlutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Pemulutan District, Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. In June 2021 to July 2022. The research method used is the Case Study method for the sampling method used by the Purposive Sampling method. The data collection method used in this research is an in-depth interview (In Depth Interview) directly to a predetermined source, participatory observation (Participant Observation) and Documentation (Documentation). The data processing method used (data condensation, data presentation, describing and drawing conclusions) and data analysis used was descriptive-qualitative analysis. The results showed that the social conditions of farmers in Pemulutan District had a positive impact on education, health, community and religion, while the economic conditions of farmers in Pemulutan District had a positive impact on the distribution of goods & services and purchasing power. the toll road because the farmers' land is reduced.
