Abstract

Abstract This thesis is under the title “An Analysis of Code Mixing on YouTube Channel”. The researcher is interested to make a research of the language that he use when doing tutorials how to play using hero Yu Zhong, Because RRQ R7 mentions words that have code-mixing elements in the content YouTube. Therefore, the researcher focus on the combination of language codes Indonesian - English in tutorial video by Rivaldi Fatah on his YouTube Channel R7 tatsumaki, taken from the video entitled “ Tutorial Yu Zhong skill 1 & 3! Dijamin Jago Yu Zhong”. The results showed that word levels of code mixing was the dominant percentage of 71,9% contained in the video on Rivaldi Fatah’s (R7 Tatsumaki) YouTube Channel. The researcher concludes that the result, the most dominant data is intra sentential of code mixing. Based on the analysis, the researcher found of word by 71,9%, Phrase by 9,5%, Hybrid by 17,1% and Repetition by 3,4%. Moreover, in intra sentential, intra lexical and involving change pronunciation, namely ISCM is 84,9%, ILCM is 17,1%, and The ICP is 4,1%. For Idiom and clause is 0% because there is no data for it.
