Abstract
In the current era, the increasing number of glass industrial plants also results in a large amount of glass waste from remaining production. Many studies have been carried out to utilize the glass waste into something more useful, namely as a mixture of concrete mixes, where the glass is processed into glass powder. The use of glass powder waste as a concrete mix is expected to reduce unused glass waste. Concrete is a mixture of portland cement or other hydraulic cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and water, with or without additives that form a solid mass (SNI-03-2847,2002). The research was carried out at the Material Technology Laboratory of the Muhammadiyah University of Palembang, which was located on Jalan Talang Banten, Campus B 13 Ulu. In this study the authors tried to continue the concrete mixture with 18% glass powder and fly ash variation levels of 13%, 15%, 17%, 19%, 21%, with concrete ages of 3, 7, and 28 days. to find out the optimum limit of a good percentage of fly ash for the compressive strength of concrete. The results of this test showed that the maximum compressive strength occurred in the variation of normal concrete mixture + Glass Powder (constant) 18% + Fly Ash 17%, namely 338.10 Kg/Cm² at the age of 28 days with a percentage increase from normal concrete of 9.09% and the value The minimum compressive strength occurs in normal concrete with a compressive strength value of 121.58Kg/Cm² at the age of 3 days.
