Abstract

Roads as transportation infrastructure are very important infrastructure for humans. Vehicle traffic is a means to move from one place to another, therefore traffic congestion is one of the important problems that must be addressed immediately. If the traffic flow is disrupted or congestion occurs, then the mobility of the community will also be disrupted. Bhayangkara Praja Sriwijaya Land Housing (BPS LAND) Citragrand City access road, Bukit Baru sub-district, Ilir Barat sub-district 1, Palembang, South Sumatra Province, has 2947 houses and shop houses (ruko) with details of type 36 Agatis houses totaling 1482 units using transportation facilities in the form of bicycles motorcycles, type 36 Acacia houses totaling 1054 units using transportation facilities in the form of cars, type 45 Mahogany houses totaling 115 units using transportation facilities in the form of cars, type 45 Ebony houses totaling 110 units using transportation facilities in the form of cars and fortunate residence shop houses totaling 186 units using transportation facilities in the form of a car. In the regulation of traffic circulation on BPS Land residential roads, the focus is on road junctions and housing exit portals. In planning the placement of these traffic signs, they are placed at intersections, housing portals and U-turns. This traffic management aims to avoid congestion in BPS Land housing in the future.
