Abstract
To meet the need for clean water, especially in the Indralaya District, there are still many people who rely on PDAM Tirta Ogan to meet their needs and get an adequate supply of clean water. In this study the authors analyze the energy loss factor in the clean water distribution pipe network of PDAM Tirta Ogan head office. the factors that affect the energy loss in the distribution pipeline network include energy loss due to pipe bends, energy loss due to pipe friction and energy loss due to changes in pipe cross section. Based on the results of the analysis of the total energy loss calculation, the largest energy loss is found in the pipeline section C2 to C2a of 5.04634 m which uses a 2 inch pipe with a pipe length of 280 m and a flow velocity of 0.911154 m with a flow rate of 0.001846. Meanwhile, the lowest energy loss is found in the pipe section C to D of 0.0388 m which uses an 8 inch pipe with a pipe length of 15 m and a flow velocity of 0.584 m/sec with a flow rate of 0.01893 m³/second.
