Abstract
ABSTRACT The construction of the Siti Khadijah Hospital building in Palembang is planned to use a pile foundation. In planning a building can not be separated from the safety criteria. Each foundation is required to be able to support the load up to the planned safety limit, including supporting the maximum load that may occur. The analysis of the bearing capacity of the foundation is carried out by taking into account the soil investigation data, the load carried by the foundation, the dimensions of the piles, the distance between the piles and the depth of the piles. The purpose of this study is to compare the value of the bearing capacity of the pile foundation with the existing pile foundation. By analyzing the bearing capacity of the foundation using 2 diameters, namely the diameter of 0.4 m, and 0.6 m using several methods including the Meyerhoff method, the Aoki De Lancer method, the Luciano Decourt method, the results obtained are as follows. The results of the analysis of the carrying capacity of the pile group using the Meyerhoff method with diameters of 0.4 m, and 0.6 m, obtained respectively 145,091 tons, 254,795 tons. The Aoki De Alencar method is 104,642 tons, 212,217 tons, respectively. The Luciano Decourt method is 263,685 Tons and 190,335 Tons Keywords: Pile foundation, bearing capacity
