Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect doses of organic fertilizer and potassium fertilizer on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) The research was carried out on farmer’s land, Jalan Sukarela Lr. Batujajar RT. 18 KM 7 Sukarame District, Palembang. The research was carried out from May to July 2021. This study used (the split plot design) experimental method with 9 treatment combinations repead 3 times so that therre were 27 experimental units.the treartment in question is as follows: FI (Main Square) = Type of doses of goat organic fertilizer (D) consict of 3 levels: D1 = 10 tons/ha (50g /polybag), D2 =20 tons/ha (100 g/polybag), D3 =30 tons/ha (150 g/polybag). F II ( Plot Child) = dosage of Potassium Fertilizer (K) consist of 3 levels of 3 levels : K1 = 460 kg/ha (2,39 g/polybag), K2 = 540 kg/ha (2,7 g/polybag), K3 =640 kg/ha ( 3,29 g/polybag). The variables observer in this study were plant height (cm), frruit lenght (cm), number of fruit weight per plant (kg), number of primary branches (stalk) The combination of treatment with goat manure at a dose of 540 kg/ha (2,7 g/polybag) gave the best result.
