Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of vegetable waste organic fertilizer and sp 36 fertilizer on the growth and production of glutinous corn (Zea mays ceratina L). 04 Ex. Flower Garden, Kec. Sukarami, Palembang City, South Sumatra.. The implementation time is from June to the end of August 2021. This study used an experimental method with a Split-plot design consisting of 9 treatment combinations which were repeated 3 times with 5 sample plants from each treatment combination. Main Plot: Dosage of Organic Fertilizer for Vegetable Waste O1: 15 tons/ha (6.75 kg/plot), O2: 20 tons/ha (9 kg/plot), O3: 25 tons/ha (11.25 kg/plot) Sub-plots: Dosage of SP36 Fertilizer (phosphorus) P1: 150 kg/ha (67.5 g/plot), P2 : 250 kg/ha (112,59 g/plot), P3: 350 kg/ha (157,5 g/plot) This study uses one variety Kumala F1. The variables observed in this study: 1. Plant Height (cm), 2. Number of Leaves (strands), 3. Cob Length (cm), 4. Cob Diameter (cm), 5. Planting Cob Weight (kg), 6. Cob weight per plot (kg). The best results obtained in this study were organic fertilizer of vegetable waste 25 tons/ha with SP-36 fertilizer 250 kg/ha.
