Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the type of organic fertilizer and the dose of liquid organic fertilizer that has the best effect on the growth and production of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L). The research has been carried out on farmer's land located on Jalan Sukarela Lr. Batujajar RT. 18 KM 7 Sukarame District, Palembang. The research was conducted from June to September 2021. This study used an experimental method using a Divided Plot Design with 12 treatment combinations repeated 3 times to obtain 36 plots. The treatment in question is as follows: Factor I = type of manure (J) consists of 3 levels: J1 = chicken manure, J2 = buffalo manure, J3 = goat manure. Factor II = Dosage of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (D) consists of 4 levels: D0 = No poc, D1 = 10 liters/ha, D2 = 15 liters/ha, D3 = 20 liters/ha. The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tubers per clump (tuber), tuber weight per clump (grams), tuber weight per plot (kg). Result the combination treatment between types of organic chicken manure with a dose of 4ml/liter of water gave the highest effect on the growth and production of shallot plants at 0.61 kg/plot (2,44 ton/ha).
