Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the type of manure waste fertilizer and NPK compound fertilizer on the growth and production of curly red chili (Capsicum annum L.). This research was carried out from September to January 2022 in Pulau Layang Village, Pampangan District. , Oki Regency, South Sumatra Province. This study used the Split plot design method with 9 treatment combinations repeated 3 times so that there were 27 experimental units. The treatment in question is as follows: Factor I Type of livestock waste fertilizer (J) consists of 3 levels: J1 = buffalo waste, J2 = chicken waste, J3 = cattle waste. Factor II = Dosage of NPK Fertilizer (N) consists of 3 levels: N1 = 50%, N2 = 75%, N3 = 100%. The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of branches (fruit), fruit length (cm), number of fruit per plant (kg), fruit weight per plant (kg). The combination treatment of chicken manure waste fertilizer with a dose of 75% NPK fertilizer gave the best results.
