Abstract

The development of a pipeline network in Rantau Kasai Village, Lintang Kanan District to meet the clean water needs of the Rantau Kasai village community, there are still many people who use river water that is no longer suitable for consumption to meet their daily clean water needs. In this study, the authors analyze the capacity and plan the development of the clean water distribution pipeline network in Rantau Kasai village, Lintang Kanan sub-district, calculating the pipes needed in the development of the pipeline network. The results of the research that has been carried out in the development of the clean water distribution pipe network are redesigned by adding a reservoir with a capacity of 10 m3 so that it is able to meet the clean water needs of Rantau Kasai Village, Lintang Kanan District. Clean water is distributed from the reservoir to the areas served by using PVC (Polyvinyl Cloride) pipes with a diameter (60 mm with a pipe length of 770 meters and a diameter (48 mm with a pipe length of 28 meters). So the overall length is 798 meters for the development of the pipeline network.
