Abstract
ABSTRACT In the develompment of technology in the manufacture of concrete in today’s mass that is increasingly unrelenting with the develompment of the times, therefore the quality of the selection of concrete as the main raw material to support the construction of buildings thatn have good quality. In this study, the problem to be discussed is to find out how much the comparison of the compressive strength of concrete between normal concrete and the compressive strength of concrete using the additives of silica fume and glenium sky as additives in the percentage variation of silica fume (6%,7% and 8%) and glenium sky (4%). In this study, 36 samples of a mixture of mixed materials added with silica fume and glenium sky will be made with a size of 15 x 15 x 15 cm, namely 3, 7 and 28 days, all specimens are planned to use concrete quality K-400. The optimum increase in concrete compressive strength is found in the addition of addictive substances silica fume 8% and glenium sky 4% with its characteristic compressive strength value reaching 469,45 Kg/Cm² at the age of 28 days.
