Abstract

The flow of traffic on the Pasar Pendopo road also causes traffic jam on Pasar Pendopo road This is due to the large volume of vehicles that pass through these roads, the presence of freight cars (pick ups) parked on the road, and motorcycles parked on the road. By analyzing the causes of traffic jam and to analyze the optimal service level capacity so that there is no congestion on the Pasar Pendopo.Pendopo District,Empat Lawang Regency, This research is to determine the cause of congestion that occurs on the Pasar Pendopor rosd,Pendopo District,Empat Lawang regency. The cause of congestion that occurs on Pasar Pendopo road is because there is the street vendors selling on the road, public transportation that transports, lowers passengers and waits for passengers (ngetem), at the crossroads it is causes vehicle delays, the width of the road is not proportional to the volume of passing vehicles, the presence of motorized vehicles parked on the road with a motorized width of 18-20 cm, and the presence of private cars parked on the road with a car width of 2.50 m so that it interferes traffic flow.
