Abstract

Online learning transforms learning patterns that are usually done face-to-face into a distance education system where teaching activities are carried out separately from learning activities. This also has an impact on biology lessons at Xaverius High School Lubuklinggau. The application of online learning is also inseparable from obstacles. This study aims to observer the implementation of online learning in biology lessons and determine the factors that affect the achievement of learning objectives. This study uses a qualitative descriptive. The research subjects were all students of class X, XI, and XII IPA at SMA Xaverius Lubuklinggau. The implementation of online learning includes planning activities namely preparing a syllabus and RPP. The learning is implemented in accordance with the RPP that has been compiled which consists of preliminary activities (opening, apperception, delivery of learning objectives), core activities (providing material in the form of video / PPT and discussion), and closing (giving is done, conclusions and giving motivation). Learning assessment, namely attitude assessment by assessing student activeness and timeliness of assignment collection, knowledge assessment by assessing the results of basic competency tests, assignments, UTS and UAS, skills assessment by assessing student practicum reports. Factors that influence the achievement of learning objectives, namely the material cannot be fully explained due to the lack of time to study biology, the response of class X students is less active in learning, monitoring of assessment, the ability of teachers to use various educational applications, difficulty in assessing student character, practicum cannot be implemented all in all, some students do not understand the material given, and the environment when studying.
