Abstract

South Sumatra with an area of ​​91,592 KM2consisting of 12 Regencies and 4 Cities, Prabumulih City with a population of 175,857 people and an area of ​​434.50 KM2. Prabumulih city is a trade and service area seen from the geographical position of Prabumulih city is a crossing area between district cities and provincial capitals. Therefore, the Prabumulih East Ring Road section has a fairly high road activity, starting from within the region itself to outside the region, so that the results of observations of the road section show some varied damage that occurs on the pavement so that it interferes with the activities of road users. From the description above, the researchers took the problem to be used as a Final Project entitled "Analysis of Damage to the Pineapple Monument Ring Road - Tanjung Raman Railway Bridge at STA 00+000-10+000 in Prabumulih City". This research was conducted for 10 km with the aim of knowing and analyzing the causes of road damage and knowing the amount of LHR on the Tugu Nanas Ring Road - Tanjung Raman Railway Bridge, Prabumulih City, knowing the thickness of the pavement to be compared with the calculation results, identifying the causes of road damage and identifying the types of damage as well as knowing the percentage of damage, knowing the level of road service on these roads.  Based on the observations and analysis results of researchers, damage to the Tugu Nanas Ring Road - Tanjung Raman Railway Bridge Prabumulih City is caused by vehicle loads that exceed the maximum road limit, there is no drainage along the road which causes rainwater to stagnate and affect the road pavement. The solution from the researchers is that before repairing the road pavement, first improve and add to the drainage condition, besides that it is necessary to add a surface layer of pavement so that the maximum load borne by the road can also increase.
