Abstract

The Gelumbang Regional General Hospital is a hospital that has not been accredited and is a class D hospital. This hospital is the first hospital to be established in Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency which was established in 2017. which has been operational in 2018, has 22 beds, 28 toilets and 153 employees, both medical and non-medical employees, where the water reservoir consists of 4 tedmonds with a capacity of 1200 liters. The cause of the lack of clean water in this hospital is the lack of water reservoirs available at the hospital. To meet the need for clean water at the Gelumbang Regional General Hospital, that is by adding a clean water reservoir to the hospital. The need for clean water is the most important thing to support the daily activities of the hospital. Clean water in the general hospital in the Gelumbang area is the most important part to meet needs such as for bathing, washing and also to meet other needs. In this hospital, the source of water supply comes from 1 drilled well to meet the needs of the hospital. Based on the results of the analysis and calculation, the total need for clean water is obtained, for the maximum clean water requirement, which is 45,662.5 liters/day, while the amount of clean water available at the Gelumbang Regional General Hospital is 4,800 liters/day. This means that the lack of clean water is 40,862.5 liters/day, to anticipate the shortage of clean water at the Gelumbang Regional General Hospital, it is planned that the reservoir capacity volume is 50,000 liters.
