Abstract

Siti Fatimah Palembang Regional General Hospital is one of the health facilities as a means of treatment which is located on Jalan. Colonel. H. Burlian Km 6 Palembang City. This building consists of 10 floors and 1 basement, with many visitors and patients coming, the availability of clean water must be sufficient so as not to interfere with activities in the hospital. The need for clean water at the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital in Palembang is one of the important things because in daily activities the hospital requires clean water to carry out various activities. Both the main activities in the form of medical activities such as examinations, treatment, laboratories, surgery, and so on, as well as supporting activities such as offices, laundry, cooking, and cleaning. From all the results of the analysis of clean water needs for operations at the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital, Palembang, it was found that the availability of clean water was only able to meet the water needs of 63.69% or 142 m3 which means that it is still insufficient to meet the needs of clean water by 36.31% or 80.938 m. So it is planned that the volume of additional ground tank capacity with a capacity of 115,500 liters or 115.5 m3 is planned.
