Abstract
One of the flood problems that occur in the city of Palembang is located on Jalan Hulu Balang II Bukit Lama Palembang. This can be seen when it rains, the rain water inundates up to the road body, so that many vehicles such as motorbikes and cars have stalled due to the very high water level and the area is one of the roads that are mostly passed by the surrounding community. From the results of observations and analysis of field data obtained 3 drainages in the form of a rectangle, the following results were obtained: field drainage: b = 0.33 m, y = 0.14 m, H = 0.37 m, sediment height = 0.03 m , P = 306 m, collector drainage : b = 0.85 m, y = 0.48 m, H = 1.0 m, sediment height = 0.10 m, P = 91 m, discharge drainage : b = 2, 00 m, y = 0.65 m, H = 1.20 m, sediment height = 0.10 m, P = 20 m, by accommodating the following discharge: field drainage = 0.0381 m^3/ second, collector drainage = 1.2881 m^3/ second, discharge drainage = 12.2545 m^3/ second, and maximum discharge capacity for field drainage = 0.3088108 m^3/ second, collector drainage = 0.35399244 m^3/ second, drain drain = 2.3067704 m^3/ second. So it can be concluded that the current drainage channel is no longer able to accommodate the total discharge of Q1 = 0.3088108 m^3/ second.
