Abstract

This study focuses on survey studies on congestion analysis on the H. Faqih Usman road to the Musi VI Bridge. To find out the analysis of congestion, road capacity, vehicle volume, service level, determine solutions to problems, and analyze the average daily traffic by conducting a field survey for seven days. The research was conducted at 3 research points, namely: at the base of the Musi VI Bridge – H. Faqih Usman street, H. Faqih Usman street – the base of the Musi VI Bridge, and K.H Moh Asyik street. The results of the analysis showed that the width of the lane was inadequate, the number of market traders at 2 ulu selling on the side of the road, the existence of public transportation that carried passengers in the market area, causing vehicle delays, part of the road was used as a place for car parking, there were motorbikes and cars parked in front of the cafe. and in and out of the cafe, and the presence of a crossroads and the absence of traffic signs.
