Abstract

Zeolite is one of the hydrated silica alumina compounds containing soil cations or alkalis (Poerwadi, et al., 2014). Based on the similarity of elements owned by cement and zeolite, it is expected that zeolite as a substitute material for cement on strong concrete press is expected to be an alternative to get a low cost with good quality. Lime or limestone is hydraulic lime most of the material is made of limestone about 65%-75%, namely calcium carbonate and its follower materials in the form of silica, alumina, magnesia and iron oxida. This study used cylindrical semple with a size of 15 cm x 30 cm with 30 semple, with variations of lime 10% and Zeolite 8%, 10%, 12%, 14%, and 16% in this study using age variations of 28 days. In this study obtained a strong value of average press on each variation of Normal Concrete + Lime 10% namely 25.08 MPa, on Normal Concrete + Lime 10% + Zeolite 8% namely 26.45 MPa, Normal Concrete + Lime 10% + Zeolite 10% that is 29.94 MPa, Normal Concrete + Lime 10% + Zeolite 12% ie 30.94 MPa, Normal Concrete + Lime 10% + Zeolite 14% ie 39.54 MPa, and Normal Concrete + Lime 10% + Zeolite 16% that is 32.17 MPa. Keywords : Zeolite, Lime, Strong Concrete Press
