Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the agribusiness system of green chili plants and to determine the income of green chili farming in Kandis Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was carried out in Kandis Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, from December 2020 to January 2021. The research method used was survey. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, the farmers who were used as samples in this study were 10 people. Data collection methodsused in this research are direct observation, interviews and documentation to the respondents who have been determined using tools in the form of questionnaires that have been prepared beforehand and data obtained from related institutions that are related to this research. The processing method used in this research is editing, coding, tabulating. Methods of processing and data analysis used to determine the agribusiness system of green chili plants, namely using descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, then to calculate income the income analysis formula is used. The results of this study indicate that the agribusiness system carried out by the sample green chili farmers consists of 3 subsystems, namely the procurement and distribution subsystem of production facilities, farming subsystem, product marketing subsystem, while the income earned by green chili farmers is an average of Rp. 137,116,855.1 Lg / MT, in one production.
