Abstract

ABSTRACT Cindy Oktavia / 212017300 / 2021 / The Effects of Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance of PT. Idola Insani Warehouse Palembang. This study aimed to determine the effects of motivation and work discipline on employee performance of PT. Idola Insani Warehouse Palembang. This research was an associative research type. The population in this study amounted to 100 employees and a sample of 73 respondents was taken by using simple random sampling technique. The analysis method used qualitative which was then quantified. The data analysis technique in this study was multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that from the calculation of tcount (7.536) > ftabel (2.38) and tcount (3.201) X1 (1.863) X2 (1.863) > ttable (1.666). It meant that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which meant that there was any effects of motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) on employee performance (Y) either simultaneously or partially. The results of multiple linear regression showed that there was a positive effect on motivation variables, and work discipline on employee performance of PT. Idola Insani Warehouse Palembang. The results of determination coefficient of motivation and work discipline were only able to contribute to changes that occurred in employee performance with the resulting contribution of 15.4%.
