Abstract

The development experienced by the city of Palembang as the capital of South Sumatra can be seen from the increase in economic activity which has an impact on the increasing development of community activities, of course this requires the development and addition of transportation facilities, especially those based on roads to facilitate movement that supports daily activities.. The aim to be achieved from this final project research is to determine the performance of the mass transportation service of the Damri Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Route Of Palembang – Pematang Panggang that is currently good or not in serving passengers. From the results of the calculation analysis based on the Ministry of Transportation's Standards, the service performance of the Damri Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Route Of Palembang – Pematang Panggang belongs to the overall good criteria. Meanwhile, from user perceptions, the service performance of the Damri Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Route Of Palembang – Pematang Panggang belongs to the overall satisfactory criteria. However, there is a lot of input from users to increase the number of operating fleets, this is in line with the results of calculations on vehicle needs where the number of fleets needed is 8, while the currently operating fleet is only 4.
