Abstract

The Dr.M.Isa intersection which is located on Dr.M.Isa street, Palembang city is divided into 4 directions, namely, east which leads to Jalan Veteran, west which leads to Perintis Kemerdekaan road, north which leads to Pasar Kuto, and south which leads to Jalan Dr.M.Isa direction Hotel Zuri Express. The Dr.M.Isa intersection has a traffic light that functions to regulate the movement of each vehicle so that it can move alternately so that it doesn't interfere with each other between the existing currents. Dr.M.Isa Palembang intersection is one of the intersections that has a high volume of traffic during peak hours, namely morning, afternoon and evening. The Dr.M.Isa intersection is a four-signal intersection where conflicts occur which often cause congestion on each approach. Where the problem occurs due to the approach of Jalan Dr. M. Isa is almost approaching the capacity that can accommodate the flow of traffic passing through the road. After analyzing the calculation of the degree of saturation at each intersection approach, the degree of saturation at Jalan Veteran approach is 0.87, namely the level of service D which is characterized by close to unstable current and low speed, Jalan Dr. M. Isa from the direction of Hotel Zuri 0.64, namely the service level C which is characterized by stable flow, speed is influenced by traffic, the volume is according to city roads. and the degree of saturation near Jalan Parameswara of 0.90, namely the service level E which is characterized by lower flow, unstable current capacity and solid volume.
