Abstract
Sekip Jaya Sub District Kemuning Palembang which is a river basin area, which has an area of 900 Ha, which is prone to flooding in case of a fairly rapid rain drainage system existing in the village area Sekip Jaya Kemuning District Palembang is a drainage system (existing) open channel. In this area there is often a flood caused by drainage channels that are filled with garbage, heavy sediment deposits and a cross-section of drainage channels that can no longer accommodate the magnitude of flood discharge resulting in water overflow from the drainage channels. From the Observation and analysis field data obtained by 3 channels rectangular, obtained the following results: First Channel: H = 0.50 m, B = 0.50 m, y = 0.46 m, p = 112 m, second channel: H = 0.65, B = 0.65 m, y = 0.6 m, p = 140 m third channel: H = 0.5 m, b = 0.5 m, y = 0.43 m, p = 124 m, able to accommodate the following debit: First Channel: 0.26993 m3/second, second channel: 0.18658 m3/second, third channel: 0.12158 m3/second. Only the first channel can accommodate the maximum discharge flow: 0.20902 m3/second. Therefore, the channel can be deduced no longer able to accommodate the planned discharge, therefore in order to accommodate the total flood discharge, it should be done normalization of drainage channels, on the second channel has a result like this after Normalization 〖 0.2459 m 〗 ^ 3/sec with a maximum discharge of 0.19762 m ^ 3/sec and on the third channel 〖 0.2044 m 〗 ^ 3/sec with a maximum discharge of 0.59666 m ^ 3/sec and can also be done engineering drainage duct system, the result of analysis and calculation of the capacity of the power can be Discharge plan is 0.8331 m ^ 3/sec >〖 0.59666 m 〗 ^ 3/sec Maximum discharge of the required total.
