Abstract

ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF POSTURE WORKING IN THE MAKING OF A BATAKO USING NORDIC BODY MAP (Case Study of CV. Karya Jaya Palembang) Dian Toto Sulistio Industrial Engineering, Muhammdiyah University, Palembang sdiantoto@gmail.com Abstract: CV. Karya Jaya is a business entity engaged in product business. The working position of the printing operator is not in accordance with ergonomic principles, so it is necessary to analyze the work posture using the Nordic Body Map. The purpose of this study was to determine the work posture of brick making using Nordic Body Map on CV. Karya Jaya Palembang. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the types of complaints that often occur during the pressing process are on the neck, shoulders, back, arms, waist, elbows, wrists, right hand, and thighs. This is because the pressing process must be done quickly, so that the dough is not hard or frozen. As an alternative to dealing with this type of complaint, namely lengthening the shovel handle and reducing the load of the shovel, reducing the load during shoveling, breaking down the duration at the time of shoveling, and trying to be able to adjust the leg movement pattern.
