Abstract

ABSTRACT In indonesia in general, the road plays an important role in people’s lives wheather it supports the economy,social culture, and other activities. The economic recovery in Indonesia which was marked by an increase in develoment has led to very rapid trffic growth. Roads are also land lines located on the surface of the earth that are specifically desaigned by humans with their size and construction in used to channel traffic of people,animals,vehicles that transport goods from one place to another in time fast and easy access. The purpose of this study was to analyze the thickness of the pavement and to analyze the calculation of the additional layer thickness (overlay) on the crossing of the Sumatera Village of Lalang sembawa-Pulau Harapan of Banyuasin. The results showed that from the calculation results obtained the value of the additional thickness of the pavement layer (overlay) using laston (AC-WC) with a life plan of 10 years is 10 cm.
