Abstract

ANDO KASMARAN OVERVIEW. Analysis of Bilge fish The research aims to determine the type of plankton found in the fish's stomach and the dominancy of plankton eaten. The research was conducted in the river basin area of the Mariana village of Banyuasin I District and in the Biology Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. Research was conducted for three months of May, June and July. Research was conducted using the field survey method with purposive sampling technique conducted in three stations. Based on the results of studies that have been conducted found 5 plankton in the stomach, Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Crysophyta, Eugleanophyta, Entomostraca. Plankton's diversity index obtained the value of moderate diversity dominating by phytoplankton from Cyanophyta's division.
