Abstract

Concrete is one of the construction materials of civil works which plays an important role in development such as houses, buildings, roads, bridges, dams, ports and others. One way to increase the strength of concrete is to increase its compaction, which is to minimize pores or cavities that form inside the concrete. The use of added ingredients can help solve these problems. Effect of the addition of cane ash on concrete mixtures as cement additives for concrete quality k-300, how the material influences as cement additives on k-300 concrete quality. In this study using cube specimens with a size of 15cm x 15cm x 15cm as many as 40 specimens, have 8 variations, with the cane ash 0%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 11%, which is divided into 5 cubes each, in this study age variations 28 days. From the results of research carried out in the concrete laboratory of the PT. Perkasa Adiguna Sembada, the maximum compressive strength test results on normal concrete + can ash 8% cement with a value of 319,15 Kg / Cm2. The conclusion of this study can be seen that cyclic concrete and lime have an influence on the concrete compressive strength which is quite high.
