Abstract

ABSTRACT In this study the author take Fly Ash and Powder Glass as an added ingredient in the concrete mix. This research intend to know the effect of Corn Rod Ash on K-300 concrete compressive strenght. This study uses cube-shaped specimens with the siza of 15 x 15 x 15. The total of test specimens in this study as much as 48 sample, each 12 seal of test specimens in 4 condition that is normal, concrete + Corn Rod Ash 3%, concrete + Corn Rod Ash 4%, and concrete + Corn Rod Ash 5%. After the concrete compressive strength test was carried out, the characteristic concrete compressive strength at the addition of Corn Rod Ash 4% obtained maximum concrete compressive strength of 238, 95 Kg / Cm at 7 days, 288.23 Kg / Cm2 at 14 days, 319, 33 Kg / Cm2 at the age of 21 days, and 337.48 Kg / Cm2 at the age of 28 days. These results exceed the value of the compressive strength characteristic of normal concrete and indicate that Corn Rod Ash increases the concrete compressive strength. Keywords : Concrete K-300, Corn Rod Ash, Strong Pressure Concrete Analysis
