Abstract

This study aims to find out how the activities of rice mills and the advantages of rice mills in managing farmers' grain. This research was conducted in Karang Rejo Village, Lalan District, Musi Banyuasin District in November 2018 until January 2019. The research method used was survey, for sampling methods using the Census method, and data collection methods used in this study were observation and interviews directly to the respondent who has been determined using a tool in the form of a questionnaire prepared beforehand. In completing the first problem statement using a qualitative descriptive analysis method, then in completing the second problem statement using the quantitative analysis method. The results of research on the activities of rice mills include raw material procurement, drying, grinding, packaging and marketing. The magnitude of the benefits of the rice milling plant obtained in managing farmers' grain in Karang Rejo Village, Lalan District, Musi Banyuasin Regency is Rp. 35,478,112 / month
