Abstract

Perancangan Universitas OKU Timur menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur kontemporer dengan mengutamakan fleksibilitas ruang, keterbukaan, kenyamanan, interaksi pengguna, serta hubungan antara ruang dalam dan ruang luar. Bangunan dirancang hingga 7 lantai dengan fungsi akademik, administrasi, sosial, dan penunjang yang terintegrasi. Universitas OKU Timur memiliki ±59 ruang kelas dengan kapasitas rencana sekitar ±1.770 mahasiswa, berdasarkan asumsi 30 mahasiswa pada setiap ruang kelas. Selain ruang kelas, tersedia ±12 ruang atau fasilitas laboratorium yang mendukung kegiatan praktik, meliputi laboratorium Teknik Sipil, Teknik Elektro, Komputer, Multimedia, Keagamaan, serta Pertanian. Fasilitas penunjang terdiri dari perpustakaan universitas dan perpustakaan fakultas, co-working space, kafe, ruang makan, ruang komunal, ruang tunggu mahasiswa, UKM, BEM, himpunan mahasiswa, auditorium, musholla, lapangan olahraga, area parkir, serta ruang administrasi dan dekanat. Auditorium memiliki luas sekitar 866 m², sedangkan musholla memiliki luas sekitar 222 m². Fasilitas utilitas meliputi lift, tangga darurat, toilet, ruang genset, ruang pompa, ruang kontrol panel, ruang server, gudang, ruang janitor, dan fasilitas keamanan.Penerapan arsitektur kontemporer diwujudkan melalui ruang komunal, co-working space, void, selasar, bukaan, ruang terbuka, serta integrasi fungsi akademik dan fasilitas penunjang. Konsep tersebut menghasilkan lingkungan pendidikan yang modern, fleksibel, interaktif, nyaman, dan mendukung kegiatan akademik maupun sosial mahasiswa. The design of OKU Timur University applies a contemporary architectural approach that emphasizes spatial flexibility, openness, comfort, user interaction, and the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. The building is designed up to 7 floors, integrating academic, administrative, social, and supporting functions. OKU Timur University has approximately 59 classrooms with a planned capacity of approximately 1,770 students, based on an assumption of 30 students per classroom. In addition to classrooms, there are approximately 12 laboratory rooms or facilities supporting practical activities, including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Multimedia, Religious Studies, and Agricultural laboratories. Supporting facilities include a university library and faculty libraries, co-working spaces, cafés, dining areas, communal spaces, student waiting areas, student organizations, BEM, student associations, an auditorium, prayer room, sports fields, parking areas, administrative offices, and faculty offices. The auditorium has an area of approximately 866 m², while the prayer room has an area of approximately 222 m². Utility facilities include elevators, emergency staircases, toilets, generator rooms, pump rooms, electrical control rooms, server rooms, storage rooms, janitor rooms, and security facilities.The application of contemporary architecture is realized through communal spaces, co-working spaces, voids, corridors, openings, open spaces, and the integration of academic and supporting functions. This concept creates a modern, flexible, interactive, and comfortable educational environment that supports both academic and social activities of students.
