Abstract

Rendy Sahputra / 242022007 / 2026 / Perancangan Sistem Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Berbasis Web di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pemetaan prestasi akademik dan non-akademik mahasiswa berbasis web pada Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang, guna menggantikan proses pengumpulan dan pengarsipan berkas prestasi yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengembangan sistem Waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, hingga pemeliharaan. Objek penelitian adalah Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Sistem dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, basis data MySQL, serta kerangka kerja Bootstrap 5 untuk antarmuka pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu menyediakan fitur login admin, pengisian data diri mahasiswa, pengunggahan berkas prestasi akademik dan non-akademik, validasi data oleh admin, serta pencetakan laporan prestasi. Sistem ini terbukti mempermudah proses pendataan prestasi mahasiswa secara terpusat, meminimalisir risiko kehilangan berkas fisik, serta mempercepat penyusunan laporan yang dibutuhkan pihak fakultas untuk keperluan akreditasi dan evaluasi kemahasiswaan. The system was built using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and the Bootstrap 5 framework for the user interface. The results show that the developed system provides features including admin login, student profile input, upload of academic and non-academic achievement documents, admin validation, and printable achievement reports. This system has proven effective in centralizing student achievement data collection, minimizing the risk of losing physical documents, and accelerating report preparation needed by the faculty for accreditation and student evaluation purposes.
