Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF WORK ENVIRONMENT, WORK DISCIPLINE, AND MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES AT THE SECRETARIAT OF THE PALEMBANG CITY REGIONAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Ruspanda Karibullah The Influence of Work Environment, Work Discipline, and Motivation on the Performance of Employees at the Secretariat of the Palembang City Regional House of Representatives. Thesis, Master of Management Study Program, Postgraduate Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Supervisors: (1) Prof. Dr. Sri Rahayu, S.E., M.M. (2) Dr. Yudha Mahrom DS, S.E., M.Si. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: 1) The influence of Work Environment, Work Discipline, and Motivation on the performance of employees at the Secretariat of the Palembang City Regional House of Representatives. 2) The influence of Work Environment on the performance of employees at the Secretariat of the Palembang City Regional House of Representatives. 3) The influence of Work Discipline on the performance of employees at the Secretariat of the Palembang City Regional House of Representatives. 4) The influence of Motivation on the performance of employees at the Secretariat of the Palembang City Regional House of Representatives. This is an associative study. The study population consists of all 187 employees, while the sample comprises 127 employees selected using the Cluster Sampling technique. The data used in this study are primary data collected via questionnaires. The data analysis technique employed is Multiple Linear Regression using the SPSS software application. The results of the study indicate that: 1) there is a significant influence of Work Environment, Work Discipline, and Motivation on employee performance. 2) there is a significant influence of Work Environment on employee performance. 3) there is a significant influence of Work Discipline on employee performance. 4) there is a significant influence of Motivation on employee performance.
