Abstract

ABSTRACT The Influence of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees of PT. Musi Hutan Persada Production Division, Muara Enim Regency The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Musi Hutan Persada Production Division, Muara Enim Regency simultaneously and partially. This type of research is associative research, the variables used are Work Motivation, Work Discipline, and Employee Performance. The population in this study was 111 employees and the sample used was 60 respondents taken using purposive sampling technique. The data used were primary data and secondary data, using questionnaire and documentation data collection methods. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression, F and t hypothesis tests and coefficient of determination. The results of multiple linear regression Y = 1.378 + 0.390X1 + 0.198X2 showed that Work Motivation and Work Discipline had a positive effect on Employee Performance at PT. Musi Hutan Persada Production Division, Muara Enim Regency. The results of the analysis showed that there was a joint influence of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Musi Hutan Persada Production Division of Muara Enim Regency with Fcount value of 44.859> Ftable of 2.40. While partially: 1) Work Motivation (X1) has a significant effect on Employee Performance with a tcount value of 4.346> ttable of 1.672) Work Discipline (X2) has a significant effect on Employee Performance with a tcount value of 3.990> ttable of 1.672. The coefficient of determination analysis shows that 59.8% of changes in Employee Performance of PT. Musi Hutan Persada Production Division of Muara Enim Regency are caused by the large contribution of the variables of Work Motivation and Work Discipline to the Employee Performance variable in the study, while the remaining 40.2% is caused by other variables not examined in this study.
