Abstract

Kawasan permukiman tidak layak huni di wilayah Ulu Palembang masih menghadapi permasalahan infrastruktur, salah satunya kondisi jembatan lingkungan yang berpengaruh terhadap aksesibilitas masyarakat. Kondisi jembatan yang kurang baik dapat menurunkan kualitas lingkungan permukiman sehingga diperlukan pemetaan sebagai dasar penentuan prioritas penanganan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kondisi jembatan, memetakan sebaran kawasan tidak layak huni menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS) dan Google Earth, menganalisis tingkat ketidaklayakan kawasan berdasarkan kondisi jembatan, serta menyusun rekomendasi penanganannya. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui survei lapangan, pengambilan titik koordinat menggunakan Avenza Maps, dokumentasi, serta pengumpulan data spasial dan atribut. Data tersebut diolah menggunakan Google Earth dan Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS) melalui proses digitasi, klasifikasi, dan analisis spasial sehingga menghasilkan peta tematik kondisi jembatan pada wilayah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi jembatan di wilayah Ulu Palembang bervariasi, mulai dari baik, sedang, hingga rusak. Integrasi Google Earth dan GIS mampu menghasilkan informasi spasial yang lebih akurat mengenai kondisi dan persebaran jembatan sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam menentukan prioritas penanganan kawasan permukiman tidak layak huni. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan GIS dan Google Earth terbukti efektif mendukung perencanaan penanganan infrastruktur dan peningkatan kualitas kawasan permukiman Uninhabitable residential areas in the Ulu Palembang region continue to face infrastructure-related problems, particularly the condition of neighborhood bridges that affect community accessibility. Poor bridge conditions can reduce the quality of residential environments; therefore, mapping is required to determine priority areas for improvement. This study aims to identify the condition of neighborhood bridges, map the distribution of uninhabitable residential areas using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Google Earth, analyze the level of residential inadequacy based on bridge conditions, and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvement. The research employed field surveys, coordinate data collection using Avenza Maps, field documentation, and the collection of spatial and attribute data. The data were processed using Google Earth and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through digitization, classification, and spatial analysis to produce thematic maps of bridge conditions within the study area. The results indicate that the condition of neighborhood bridges in the Ulu Palembang area varies from good, moderate, to poor. The integration of Google Earth and GIS successfully provides accurate spatial information regarding the condition and distribution of bridges, which can be used as a basis for determining priority areas for the improvement of uninhabitable residential settlements. Therefore, the application of GIS and Google Earth has proven to be effective in supporting infrastructure planning and improving the quality of residential environments.
