Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul interaktif berbasis Self-paced Learning pada materi virus di Fase E SMA Negeri 4 Palembang yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan, kepraktisan dan keterbacaan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya penggunaan bahan ajar digital dalam pembelajaran Biologi, sedangkan materi virus merupakan salah satu materi yang dianggap sulit dipahami karena bersifat abstrak. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan e-modul interaktif berbasis Self-paced Learning sebagai bahan ajar yang mendukung pembelajaran mandiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Developmentment) menggunakan model 4-D yang meliputi tahap define, design, development, dan dissemination. Penelitian ini dibatasi sampai tahap development. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas tiga validator, satu guru, dan 15 peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan skala Likert dengan kriteria penilaian berdasarkan Azwar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul interaktif berbasis Self-paced Learning memperoleh skor validasi sebesar 150 dengan kategori sangat layak, skor penilaian praktisi (guru) sebesar 80 dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan skor respon murid sebesar 77,07 dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul interaktif berbasis Self-paced Learning pada materi virus di Fase E SMA Negeri 4 Palembang sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar digital yang mendukung pembelajaran Biologi secara mandiri, interaktif, dan fleksibel. Kata kunci: e-modul interaktif, Self-paced Learning, kelayakan, materi virus This study aims to produce an interactive, Self-paced Learning e-module on the topic of viruses for Phase E students at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang that meets the criteria of feasibility, practicality, and readability. This study was motivated by the limited use of digital teaching materials in Biology learning, while the topic of viruses is considered difficult for students to understand due to its abstract nature. Therefore, an interactive e-module based on Self-paced Learning was developmented to support independent learning. This study employed a Research and Developmentment (R&D) method using the 4-D model, consisting of the define, design, development, and dissemination stages. However, this research was limited to the development stage. The research subjects consisted of three expert validators, one teacher, and 15 tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively using quantitative analysis with a Likert scale based on Azwar’s assessment criteria. The results showed that the interactive e-module based on Self-paced Learning obtained a validation score of 150, which was categorized as highly feasible, a practitioner (teacher) assessment score of 80, which was categorized as highly practical, and a student response score of 77.07, which was categorized as highly feasible. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the interactive e-module based on Self-paced Learning on the topic of viruses for Phase E students at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang is highly feasible to be used as a digital teaching material that supports independent, interactive, and flexible Biology learning.
