Abstract
This study aimed to determine the appropriate dosage of organic fertilizer from chicken manure enriched with molasses from stale rice on soil nitrogen uptake in hybrid corn (Zea mays L.). This research was conducted at the corn research field in Indaralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. starting from November 2025 to March 2026. The research method used is a field experiment method using a Non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), using 6 treatments repeated 4 times. The treatments are N0: 0kg/ha(0g/plot), N1: 200kg/ha(200g/plot), N2: 400kg/ha(400g/plot), N3: 600kg/ha(600g/plot), N4: 800kg/ha(800g/plot), N5: 1000kg/ha(1000g/plot). With a planting distance of 60x30 cm. The variables observed are, Soil N availability, Soil pH, Root volume (ml), Root length per plant, Number of leaves per plant, Plant height, Shell weight per plot (kg). From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that organic fertilizer enriched with MOL Stale Rice with a dose of 600 kg/ha is the best treatment for the variables of soil N availability and plant height with a grain weight per plot of 4.50 kg/ha or equivalent to 3.60 tons/ha.
