Abstract

This study aims to obtain the right dose of organic pesticides to control pests in sweet corn plants (Zea mays saccharata Strut.). This study was conducted at Jl. Sukarela Lr. Mataram RT.22 RW.06 KM 7 Kel. Sukarami Kec. Sukarami, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. Starting from January 2026 to March 2026. This study used a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 treatments repeated 5 times. The pesticide composition treatments were, P0 No treatment (control), P1 Lemongrass Stems 350 ml / 5 liters of water, P2 Neem Leaves 350 ml / 5 liters of water, P3 combination of lemongrass stems and neem leaves 350 ml / 5 liters of water, P4 Inorganic 10 ml / 5 liters of water. Observed variables, Pest population, Percentage of pest attacks (%), Level of intensity of pest attacks (%), Pest mortality rate (%). The results of the study showed, tabulated, that all organic and inorganic pesticide treatments had no significant effect on the observed variables. The study concluded that the combination of lemongrass stalks and neem leaves, 350 ml per 5 liters of water, was the best treatment among the other treatments
