Abstract

This study aims to describe the pattern of pineapple leaf fiber-based business partnerships between farmers and the Miwa Pineapple Producer Cooperative in East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City, to determine the level of farmers' income after the partnership, and to analyze the feasibility level of pineapple farming based on the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C). The research method used is a mixed method (mixed methods) approach combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The respondents in this study consisted of 7 pineapple farmers who are members of the partner farmer group. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using calculations of production costs, revenue, income, and R/C ratio. The results showed that the partnership pattern implemented between the Miwa Pineapple Producer Cooperative and partner farmers falls under a general trading partnership pattern, where cooperation is based on buying and selling transactions of pineapple leaves as raw material for fiber. The partnership is simple, without a written contract, with a cash payment system after weighing, and does not involve capital or production input assistance from the cooperative. The total income from pineapple farming in one planting season is Rp 769,019,006, with an average of Rp 109,859,858. The largest income comes from selling pineapple fruit as the main product, while the sale of pineapple leaves provides additional income of Rp 602,857 per planting season. The R/C ratio of 4.20 indicates that pineapple farming is feasible and profitable to operate, as every Rp 1 of cost incurred generates revenue of Rp 4.20.
