Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi pengaruh dosis pupuk kotoran sapi dan arang sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung hibrida (Zea mays L). Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di lahan riset penelitian jagung Kec. Indralaya, Kab. Ogan ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan November 2025 sampai dengan Maret 2026. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode eksoerimen lapangan yaitu split plot, dengan 3 perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 9 kali, Sehingga terdapat 27 unit percobaan, adapun perlakuannya berupa A0 : 0 kg/petak A1 : 1.5 kg/petak A2 : 3.5 kg/petak S1 : 1.5 kg/petak S2 : 3.5 kg/petak S3 : 5.5 kg/petak, dengan jarak tanam 60x20 cm. peubah yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang tongkol, diameter tongkol, berat 100 biji, berat pipilan perpetak. Hasil penelitian ini menjukkan bahwa secara tabulasi interaksi penggunaan arang sekam padi 3.5 kg/petak dengan pupuk kotoran sapi sapi 3.5 kg/petak merupakan perlakuan terbesar terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung hibrida sebesar 3.58 kg/petak atau setara dengan 7,16 ton/ha.
