Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) The Effect of Competence, Work Discipline and Motivation on the Performance of Employees of the Coal Handling Facility & Main Mining Equipment Maintenance Sub-Division of PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim Mining Unit 2) The Effect of Competence on the Performance of Employees of the Coal Handling Facility & Main Mining Equipment Maintenance Sub-Division of PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim Mining Unit 3) The Effect of Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees of the Coal Handling Facility & Main Mining Equipment Maintenance Sub-Division of PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim Mining Unit 4) The Effect of Motivation on the Performance of Employees of the Coal Handling Facility & Main Mining Equipment Maintenance Sub-Division of PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim Mining Unit. This type of research is Associative. The variables used by researchers are the variables of competence, discipline, motivation and employee performance. The sample in this study was Employees of the Coal Handling Facility & Main Mining Equipment Maintenance Sub-Division of PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim Mining Unit totaling 138 employees selected by Cluster Random Sampling. The data used in this study is primary and seondary data. Used a questionnaire data collection method. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression with the SPSS Program Application. The results of this study indicate that: (1) competence, work discipline and motivation together have a significant effect on employee performance (2) competence has a significant effect on employee performance (3) work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance (4) motivation has a not significant effect on employee performance.
