Abstract

ABSTRACT Concrete is one of the construction materials of civil works which plays an important role in development such as houses, buildings, roads, bridges, dams, ports and others. One way to increase the strength of concrete is to increase its compaction, which is to minimize pores or cavities that form inside the concrete. The use of added ingredients can help solve these problems. Effect of the addition of cycac concrete and lime on concrete mixtures as cement additives for concrete quality k-300, how the material influences as cement additives on k-300 concrete quality. In this study using cube specimens with a size of 15cm x 15cm x 15cm as many as 60 specimens, have 4 variations, with the addition of 10% lime and variations of SikaCim 4.5 ml / kg, 6 ml / kg and 7.5 ml / kg cement, which is divided into 15 cubes each, in this study using 5 age variations namely, 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. From the results of research carried out in the concrete laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Palembang, the maximum compressive strength test results on normal concrete + lime mixture of 10% + SikaCim 6 ml / kg cement with a value of 341.85 Kg / Cm2 and the highest percentage increase in normal concrete + lime mixture 10% + SikaCim 6 ml / kg cement with a percentage value of 13.95%. The conclusion of this study can be seen that cyclic concrete and lime have an influence on the concrete compressive strength which is quite high.
